A Bit About Me

I'm a graphic designer with a strong background in branding, marketing, and design strategy. I've honed my skills through experience at agencies, in-house teams and freelance work. I've collaborated with prestigious organisations like i Am Emily Design, 24 Fingers, and Essex County Council, and I'm passionate about helping businesses achieve their goals through effective design solutions.

I believe that creativity and compassion are the keys to a better future, both in business and in our communities.

Let's work together to unlock your potential and create a positive impact.

While I'm proud of my accomplishments as a designer and business owner, my true passion lies in giving back to the community that has given me so much. I believe in using my skills and experience to empower others and create positive change.

I dedicate my time to mentoring aspiring creatives, particularly those facing barriers due to disability, neurodiversity, or marginalisation. Witnessing their growth and success is incredibly fulfilling.

Volunteering is an integral part of my life. I enjoy sharing my knowledge through workshops, providing career guidance, and championing diversity and inclusion. I'm committed to building a community where everyone feels supported and empowered to reach their full potential.

Mentoring and supporting young creatives

Empowering young creatives with disabilities, neurodiversity, or from marginalised backgrounds, I offer a free portfolio review and creative mentoring program. This program equips them with the skills and guidance to launch successful artistic careers.

I've mentored a number of promising young creatives, and helped them secure their first freelance projects or university spots thanks to my guidance and industry connections.

Business Support

Leveraging my role in the Business Growth team at Essex County Council, I spearheaded initiatives that empower both women and young people in our community. I recently co-led the Ambitious Women in Essex networking group alongside founder Eve Calderbank, fostering connections with vital women's business groups.

Additionally, I actively contribute to council projects focused on youth employment (We Rise) and environmental sustainability through the GREAT Start project.

Business Engagement

Through my role at ECC and freelance work as a designer, marketer, and Virtual Assistant, I've developed solid relationships with businesses and startups throughout Essex, providing comprehensive business support.

I also volunteer my time supporting businesses in delivering workshops and have built great relationships with a variety of organisations and networks across Essex.

The University of Essex

I volunteered to be on a Pitching panel for the University of Essex, awarding funding to young entrepreneurs with their first business plan. I’ve built close connections with the university and continue to work with them to provide support.

Colchester Institute

At Colchester Institute, I'm dedicated to empowering students on their creative journeys. I provide valuable branding guidance to media students, helping them refine their professional image. My support extends beyond the classroom, as I attended the end-of-year show to celebrate their achievements.

Furthermore, I contribute to shaping the future curriculum by offering insights on industry trends. Perhaps most importantly, I offer external mentorship to students, building rapport especially with neurodiverse individuals. Through tailored advice and support, I equip them with the skills and confidence to thrive in the creative working world.

Diversity and Inclusion

I have volunteered to be a part of the diversity and inclusion panel within Essex County Council, to help advise on how hiring practices can be more inclusive, especially with a focus on disability.

I provide free mentoring to young people who are disabled or neurodiverse, empowering them to discover their unique strengths and find ways of working that truly unlock their potential.

Could I help you out?

I believe in using my skills for good. Let's discuss potential partnerships and how we can create meaningful impact together.
